Propecuária has settled its activity in 1979, in Batalha, always with the purpose of contributing to the improvement and development of the veterinarian service.

It is proud of being a remarkable company in the veterinarian business, working in the field of veterinarian medicines distribution, surgery equipment and immunological veterinarian medicines.

To face the current market demands and its customers' requests, Propecuária pays frequent attention to the accomplishment of quality inquiries that allow the company to analyse some of its customers' needs. All the process is developed so that the company's partners feel pleased.


HEADQUARTERS

Currently, Propecuária has assembled a wide range of unique infrastructures in this type of business that were studied and developed for this specific purpose. 

The headquarters are organised so that all the procedures related to orders take place in a coherent and organized way.

In the supplying of its products, the company has several cold-storage rooms aimed at the different types of medicines. These are specific cold-storage rooms to keep the immunological medicines. All this products have characteristics that imply their conservation at temperatures between the 2 and 8 grades. The company also has cold-storage rooms for medicines where the conservation should be kept between the 8 and 15 grades.

All the supplying area of the veterinarian medicines is acclimatized and controlled by a totally computerized system that, associated to a high power generator, guarantees the stability of acclimatization equipments for a long period of time, even when the electric current is broken. Any malfunction in the system is communicated to previously defined numbers by telephone.

The register of the products and the deadlines of all the entries are checked and controlled at the merchandise reception area. The support warehouse aims at post-reception merchandise in quantities that don't allow the company to put them in the main warehouse.

All the refunds are stored isolated, waiting for their return to the suppliers, under the previously agreed conditions.Propecuária also has a Procedure Manual that contemplates all the security and hygiene measures and the installation of security equipment.

DISTRIBUTION

In the distribution process, after the reception and order processing, the client is guaranteed the best packing conditions and wrapping on the sending of the medicines, so that the characteristics of each product could be strictly respected during the distribution, accomplishing their own hygiene and security requirements.

Based on the reliable partnership that exists between customers and suppliers, Propecuária has had a sustainable development year after year.
