In the development of its activities, Propecuária possesses the authorization N.º AO22/H/2010 from INFARMED that allows it to distribute veterinarian medicines.It also has, from the same institution, an authorization that allows it to commercialise medicines with stupefacient, n.º 624 and psychotropic substances, n.º 454. It is also the owner of the authorization number 39/ADG/MUV/2009 emitted by Direcção Geral de Veterinária to the distribution of immunological medicines.  The wide range of medicines for veterinary possesses by Propecuária is based in the close relationship with well-known laboratories. 

It still has an exclusive system of animal electronic identification - IDVET | Global-Ident. This solution is composed by micro-chips IDVET ruled by the AIM authorization nr. T 02/2011/DGV and AIM authorization nr. T 03/2011/DGV, and by two distinct Global-ident readers: the Planette II, following the authorization AIM nr. L01/2006GDGV and Galaxy, under nr. L02/2006/DGV, This system was especially created for pets, farm and wild animals.
